Orders & General

1. How do I place an order?

Simply browse our store, select the items you'd like to purchase, and add them to your cart. When you're ready, proceed to checkout, enter your shipping and billing information, select your preferred payment method, and confirm your order. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been successfully placed.

2. Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

You may request changes or cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order at no cost. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@cityfashions.net with your order number. We can only accommodate changes or cancellations before your order has been processed for shipment. Once shipped, changes or cancellations are no longer available.

3. Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes! You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order. This email will include your order number, items ordered, shipping address, and order total. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

4. Can City Fashions cancel my order?

We reserve the right to cancel orders for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, failed payment verification, or shipping address issues. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund and an email notification.


Shipping

5. Does City Fashions ship internationally?

No. We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States only. We do not offer international shipping, and we cannot deliver to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or U.S. territories outside the contiguous United States.

6. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is 100% FREE for all orders shipped within the United States. There are no additional shipping charges, handling fees, or fuel surcharges. Free shipping applies to all standard shipping methods offered at checkout.

7. How long does order processing take?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed before 3:00 PM Central Time (CT) on a business day will typically begin processing the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff time will be processed on the next business day. Weekends and U.S. federal holidays are not included in processing time.

8. What is the daily order cutoff time?

Our daily cutoff time is 3:00 PM Central Time (CT). Orders placed before this cutoff on a business day will be processed the same day. Orders placed after 3:00 PM CT will be processed the following business day.

9. How long will delivery take after my order ships?

Once your order has been shipped, estimated delivery time is 4–7 business days. The total estimated time from placing your order to delivery is approximately 5–10 business days (1–3 days processing + 4–7 days shipping).

10. Do delivery times vary?

Yes. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, weather conditions, carrier delays, high order volumes during peak seasons, or other unforeseen circumstances. We work with reliable carriers to ensure your package arrives as quickly and safely as possible.

11. Which shipping carriers does City Fashions use?

We partner with trusted carriers including USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier used for your order is determined based on destination, package size, and weight.

12. How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your order by:

  • Clicking the tracking link in your email
  • Visiting the carrier's website (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) and entering your tracking number
  • Using the order tracking section on our website

Note: Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update after you receive your shipping confirmation email.

13. What if my tracking number hasn't arrived?

If you do not receive a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us at info@cityfashions.net and we will look into it for you.

14. What should I do if my package shows "delivered" but I haven't received it?

If your tracking shows "delivered" but you haven't received your package:

  1. Check with neighbors or your building's mail/reception area
  2. Look around your doorstep, porch, or any safe-drop location
  3. Allow 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered prematurely
  4. If the package still hasn't arrived, contact us at info@cityfashions.net and we will investigate with the carrier.

15. Do you ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

No. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or territories outside the contiguous United States. Please provide a valid residential or commercial street address when placing your order.

16. What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. We are not responsible for orders delayed or undelivered due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to confirm the correct address. Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.

17. What should I do if my package is lost or damaged?

Lost package:

  1. Check your tracking information for the latest status
  2. Allow an additional 2–3 business days past the estimated delivery date
  3. If the package still hasn't arrived, contact us at info@cityfashions.net with your order number and tracking information

Damaged package:

  1. Contact us immediately upon discovering the damage
  2. Provide photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging
  3. Retain all original packaging and damaged items until the issue is resolved
  4. We will arrange a replacement, refund, or reshipment at no cost to you

Payments

18. What payment methods does City Fashions accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
  • Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard
  • Digital Wallets: PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay

We do not accept cash on delivery (COD), personal checks, money orders, or wire transfers.

19. What currency are prices displayed in?

All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD). If your bank uses a different currency, the conversion will be handled by your financial institution at their applicable exchange rate. We are not responsible for any currency conversion fees.

20. Is my payment information secure?

Yes! Your security is our top priority:

  • All payments are processed through Shopify's PCI DSS-compliant payment system
  • Your payment information is encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology
  • We never store your complete credit card information on our servers
  • We do not share your payment information with third parties except as necessary to process your order

21. What is included in my order total?

Your final order total at checkout includes:

  • Product price(s)
  • Applicable sales tax (based on your shipping address)
  • Shipping fee (FREE for all standard U.S. orders)
  • Any applicable promotional discounts

The final total is displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.

22. When is sales tax charged?

Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and the applicable state and local tax rates. Tax rates vary depending on your delivery location.

23. Why was my payment declined?

Common reasons for payment decline include:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Incorrect card number, expiration date, or CVV
  • Card has expired
  • Card issuer declining the transaction
  • Billing address does not match the address on file with your card issuer
  • Daily or transaction spending limit reached
  • Temporary card hold or security freeze

What to do:

  1. Verify your payment information and try again
  2. Try a different payment method
  3. Contact your bank or financial institution

24. Does my billing address need to match my card's registered address?

Yes. Your billing address must match the address on file with your card issuer or payment provider. We may verify your billing address as part of our fraud prevention measures. If there is a mismatch, your order may be delayed or cancelled.


Refunds & Returns

25. How do I request a refund?

To request a refund, please contact us at info@cityfashions.net with your order number and reason for the refund. Return shipping is completely FREE — we provide prepaid return shipping labels for all eligible returns.

26. How long does it take to receive a refund?

Refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Once processed, the refund will be credited to your original payment method.

27. What if I haven't received my refund after 10 business days?

If you have not received your refund within 10 business days:

  3. If you've completed the above steps and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at info@cityfashions.net and we will assist you.

28. Will I be refunded the original shipping cost?

Since we offer free shipping on all U.S. orders, there are no shipping costs to refund. A full refund will be issued for the product price of eligible returned items.


Security & Verification

29. Why was my order held for verification?

We may hold orders for additional verification if they appear high-risk or unusual. This is part of our fraud prevention process to protect both you and our customers. If your order is held, we may contact you to verify your identity. Orders may be cancelled if verification fails.

30. How does City Fashions protect against fraud?

We employ advanced fraud detection systems and review all orders for potential fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to:

  • Request additional identification or documentation
  • Cancel suspicious orders and issue full refunds
  • Verify billing addresses with payment providers
